Work Life balance and burn out

How can I possibly have time for myself when work and home take so much away from me?

If you are finding yourself burnt out at your place of work, struggling to complete basic tasks at home or even be present for yourself, therapy can help.

Many of the individuals I work with are wondering how they can balance it all. How do I have time to make friends, create a strong relationship, or take care of my kids when there is so much to do?

I want to have some fun or even get to the gym but I'm feeling anxious or exhausted all of the time. While therapy can seem like "one more task" it can also help you to explore ways to have a fulfilling life with balance and joy again.

Work Burnout

C-PTSD or Complex PTSD is what can happen when trauma continues for a long period of time; instead of 1 incident of trauma, the person may have experienced years of a similar trauma. This can be the case when working in the medical field, as a fireman/EMT, or even when growing up in an abusive home. Many times symptoms of complex trauma include self doubt, low self esteem, negative self perception, and interpersonal relationship struggles.
