Mindfulness for Stress Reduction

What is Mindfulness?

What is Mindfulness?

What is Mindfulness?

Being mindful is allowing yourself to be "completely present in the moment". It is slowing down and experiencing the here and now without worrying about what comes next. Mindfulness for stress reduction is useful for reducing symptoms of depression and anxiety.

Observe and Enjoy

What is Mindfulness?

What is Mindfulness?

The next time you go for a walk, take a slow pace and notice what is around you. What do you see, hear, smell? How does the ground feel below your feet? How does the sun feel on your skin? This is a basic mindfulness activity that can be practiced daily to improve well being. My therapeutic approach incorporates mindfulness training to reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression.
